Channel 1 Talk (30 min) |
Transitioning from ABAP Programmer to Developer A common challenge faced by all ABAP programmers is learning about anything other than ABAP development tools. We eat, sleep, and repeat ABAP. Every SAP and non-SAP technology stack is evolving, and so should we. Make the move from ABAP programmer to developer for whom the language is just a way to express that art. We have come a long way from module pool programming to the Web Dynpro development environment and SAPUI5, so having a developer mind-set is super-important. |

We are looking forward to interacting with you in the different interactive formats.
Stay healthy!
Carine - what a great list and thank you for listing my session. I am looking forward to great SAP TechEd.
Very useful Carine! Many thanks. I'm already getting schedule conflicts but I suppose all the sessions will be available for catch up later...?
I assume that some of the simulive sessions will later go on-demand - but have currently no information about that.
Kind regards, Carine
Great summary, thanks Carine!
Love the summary! And thank you (like Tammy) Thank you for mentioning my session.
I'm looking forward to teched, it should be amazing!
I'm very curious about that session Michelle, the expectations are high!
Then I hope it will meet or exceed expectations! Be ready to ask questions - I like these as interactive as possible.
Thanks for listing ...
Thanks for sharing, Carine! Are there major differences between DEV200 (strategy) and DEV825 (roadmap) sessions?
You're welcome, Jelena.
DEV825 will have a greater focus on the roadmap - planned innovations - and also include a system demo about simplified RFC and custom code management setup.
Kind regards, Carine
Great overview, thank you.
The link for the sign-up seem to be broken?
Thank you. I've fixed the link.
Kind regards, Carine.
Unfortunately, not able to add the session "ABAP on SAP Cloud Platform: How to Build and Certify Partner Add-Ons [PAR900]" to the schedule because the waitlist is already full.
It would be really helpful if the recorded videos are made available later.
On-Demand means what? Who should demand it and how? What is the process for on-demand sessions?
I think it's just their terminology for a recorded replay.
Hi Pavel,
On-demand means you will be able to access the session recording any time - in contrast to live and scheduled sessions, which you can watch the next two days at the scheduled times. Replays of the pre-recorded sessions of both types will be accessible for 12 months after the event (with the exception of live events, such as workshops and expert Q&A). For more information, please see this FAQ document.
Best regards,
Boris
Thanks, now it's clear.
Hi, Can we get recorded video of “ABAP on SAP Cloud Platform: How to Build and Certify Partner Add-Ons [PAR900]” session. Thanks
Hi Pradeep,
Unfortunately, no replays are provided for workshop and expert Q6A sessions (e.g. PAR900, DEV260). When available, the replays are accessible for 12 months after the event on the relevant session page. For more information, you can have a look at the SAP TechEd in 2020 FAQ document.
Kind regards,
Carine
